Temple Conference
Next to the Ogden temple, brought back a lot of memories. We could bring one other person with us so I invited Christine.
Very short (only about an hour) but very nice. Special guest, Elder and Sister Eckboe from the Seventy. Told us how important the work we’re doing really is and how the Savior is grateful to us.
The Temple matron mentioned her sister who fell away from the church and died in 2020 from a brain tumor. She wondered if she should do her sister’s work in the temple the next year, and her husband counseled her that wasn’t her decision to make. So she went ahead with the work and really felt her sister’s spirit.
I almost hated to leave.
