Christmas Painting Project

Had a lovely old-fashioned painting project at tonight's Relief Society Christmas party. (Yeah, we had it early this year.) We had a choice between three different wood ornaments, and I chose a Nativity ornament. We got to use pretty much any color we liked. 

I haven't painted since college...and I sure missed it. I always liked working with acrylic paint because it's so easy to work with, it has a really nice sheen, and you can paint over your mistakes if necessary. It's quite relaxing. 

Got quite a few compliments on the final product, too.
