Inktober 2018 - Day 1

And the second year has begun! The wheels in my head were already spinning before I got out the paper and broke open my new case of Sharpies.

For the first official "Inktober" entry: Poisonous. Want a bite?

For the first Disney entry: Candle. Naturally, I thought of our most favorite musical candelabra...and our only one, as far as I can tell. I kind of prefer the 1991 Lumiere to the 2017 Lumiere, and I must confess, he was harder to draw than I thought. Had to do a quick side sketch to get it (mostly) right.

And finally, for my own "Fantasytober" entry: Unicorn. Isn't that a cutie? And I had to draw this four times before I was satisfied.
