Inktober 2018 - Day 14

Well, I had a fine time sleeping last night. I dreamed that my boss followed me home (and I had to crouch in front of the family car just to hide from him), and pure adrenaline kept me awake a half-hour before my alarm went off. I shared this dream with my mom and several co-workers, who found it funny and slightly disturbing, but I don't think I'll mention it to the boss himself.

But today's shift wasn't so bad, even if I was kept on my toes and I came home stiff and aching. While my boss wasn't there, two other women pitched in and were so helpful and patient with me. I did my best and I feel fairly good about my efforts.

Still, I say it should be against the law to work on Sundays...or to at least work retail. Another coworker dropped a hint about what I can do to change that (something about an availability sheet), but I'll wait and see if it works.

So...Inktober! Still doing it, still loving it. Here we go again.

Day 14: Clock. I was tempted to draw Big Ben, but instead I opted for Mario and that super-tough "Tick Tock Clock" level. As fun as that game is, you do have to go through a fair bit of grief to win a star. I have more fun trying to win than actually winning.

Day 14 for Disney: Children. Ah, yes, the good old days of youth. I still consider myself a kid at heart.

And Fantasytober 14: Goblin. Nothing to say about this one. I don't hate it but it's nothing impressive.
